What a difference a year makes

I guess it's been a while since I've posted on here, and with good reason.
Truth be told, I haven't spent much time online because I've been busy having the best life ever, and getting everything that I've ever dreamed of. I know, I know - *gag*

I'll have to give the major highlights now and come back with the juicy details later.
In a nutshell, my life is one lovely, beautiful mess.

This last year I was able to marry the love of my life. on Valentine's Day - February 14, 2015 we said I do in front of our friends and family and began our Happily Ever After. I could post photos and relive this day all day, every day. I just love Love, and never has there been a day full of more love than the day that we became Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Matthews.

We anxiously awaited to meet our son, Nikolas Raymond Matthews. We planned we shopped, we read, and we enjoyed every single minute leading up to our son's birthday.

August 1, 2015 we welcomed our son - the most beautiful baby in the history of all babies - into this world and into our hearts. This day is tied for first place when it comes to the most important and ridiculously amazing day of my life.

Three weeks later, Hyrum and I finalized the deal and officially became home owners. We've been spending the majority of our time (and money) on working on it - turning it from A HOUSE to OUR HOME. I am so excited for what the future has in store. Judging by what the Universe has chosen to give us so far, I think we're in for a treat.

As the days go by, I fall more and more in love with my life. I smile bigger, I laugh longer - granted, I sleep a WHOLE lot less - but I can honestly and truly say that I never had any idea that I could ever be so happy. As I think back to how much my life has changed this past year, I can only look to the future with gratitude, love, and hope. Life sure is sweet.
