Escondido, Pt. Dos

We spent a lot of beautiful days wandering about all that San Diego had to offer. After "Tay Day" and all the wonderful things that it had in store (aka: a shload of shopping, Starbucks-ing, lunching, $20 parking, $40 T-shirts, etc) we had decided that perhaps Beach Days would be more appropriate for the remainder of my trip. Beach days, Farmers Markets, and plenty of "Quiet time" in the afternoons. I am reminded suddenly of how much I love napping.

This was by far the most exciting Beach day we had! We were celebrating the 60th Wedding Anniversary of a lovely couple of lovebirds, Polly learned how to surf, Teddy learned about boobs, and we all got sunburned to shiz. After a long, hot, beautiful day at the beach, quiet time just seemed exceptionally gratifying.
