It's a Marshmallow World

If you ever wake up sad that you have to go to work on the Friday before a 3-day weekend when all of your co-workers are going to have a 4-day weekend, don't fret. I have developed the perfect recipe for squashing the blues.

Ingredients:
1 beautiful and incredible snowstorm (large chunk snow)
1 Grande Peppermint Mocha
50 Christmas songs (only the best on your spotify playlist)
2 small humans who love to color

Begin by slowly coating everything in sight with the beautiful snow chunks, so that everytime you look out the window you squeal with delight.

*Be sure to turn around and look out the window several times every 2-4 minutes to make sure it is still snowing profusely.

Once everything is dusted nicely and evenly, add the Grande peppermint mocha (we suggest Starbucks for best results).

When your friend comes in on his day off with his two cute little kiddos to drop of some paperwork, make sure to have lots of blank coloring pages of the Princess and Superhero variety. Once the pages are all colored beautifully, hang up on your boring cork-board (that may or may not be intended for work-related items). Chances are his "quick 5-minute" trip is going to take a lot longer and these kids will need to be occupied.

Before, during, and after your small human visitors invade your personal space, make a mess of your office, race you up and down the halls giggling, and otherwise bring a huge grin to your face, make sure to blast Christmas music. BLAST.

Especially beautiful gems such as this:

If you follow the recipe correctly,  you should have a beautiful, fabulous, wonderful day - even if you have to work. I know I did!
